About Us

Lotus Springs Psychiatry & Wellness Center is a Maryland-based outpatient private practice serving individuals across Maryland and Delaware. We treat a wide range of psychiatric, mental health, and behavioral health conditions for clients across the lifespan. Currently, all services are provided via telehealth. However, we plan to move to a hybrid care model—offering both in-person and virtual visits based on client and provider preference—by mid-August 2025.

Founded in 2024 and led by seasoned professionals with diverse medical backgrounds, we are committed to enhancing both the quality and accessibility of mental health services. Our mission includes breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health while creating a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals from all walks of life. Ultimately, our goal is to empower every client to reach their fullest potential—starting with a strong foundation of mental well-being.

At Lotus Springs Psychiatry and Wellness Center, we provide individualized, client-centered care through thorough evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic methods grounded in current research and evidence-based practices in efforts to achieve the most optimal outcome for the individual being treated. Whether via virtual visits or in-person, we take steps and care to provide a comfortable and safe space to make the experience as pleasant and positive as possible for our clients.

Meet Our Caring Team

Sarah B. Johnson, MSN, APRN, CRNP-PMH

CEO, Owner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Mrs. Johnson is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), licensed in Maryland and Delaware. She brings over 18 years of experience in the healthcare field, including 15 years as a critical care RN with the Johns Hopkins Health System in Baltimore. Her diverse background spans a range of psychiatric and mental health settings, including inpatient dual-diagnosis, substance use treatment, community-based outpatient care, and private practice. She has experience treating clients ages 6 and up.

Mrs. Johnson is committed to delivering compassionate, client-centered care rooted in evidence-based and innovative treatment approaches. Her practice integrates holistic and integrative techniques to support healing of the whole self.

She values a strong therapeutic relationship and believes in empowering clients through education and collaboration. By encouraging active participation in their treatment, she helps clients better understand their diagnoses, explore their options, and work toward meaningful, lasting outcomes.
